The Corvid 44 12G is AJA’s lightning-fast, compact 8-lane PCIe 3.0 I/O card, featuring four bidirectional 12G-SDI HD-BNC connectors—engineered for today’s most rigorous video and audio workflows. The Corvid 44 12G is available in various configurations, including full-height and low-profile, with either passive or active cooling.

Whether you are working with HFR 8K/4K/UltraHD, 2K/HD, SD, Deep Color, and/or HDR, experience the quality and reliability that the Corvid 44 12G brings to your projects. It supports 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, with color spaces up to 12-bit, and enables both input and output via 12G-SDI. It is also backward-compatible with 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and 1.5G-SDI. 12G-SDI, Multi-Format PCIe I/O Card
The Corvid 44 12G features four bidirectional 12G-SDI ports with a reference input. 8K input and output are supported via four 12G-SDI cables, while 4K/UltraHD input and output can be handled via a single 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI cable, or via four 3G-SDI cables. 2K/HD input and output are supported via a single SDI cable or dual-link SDI, allowing for simultaneous recording and monitoring over SDI.

The Corvid 44 12G family includes models with options for active or passive cooling, RS422 connectivity via the PCIe bracket or a card-mounted connector, and either HD-BNC or full-size BNC connectors.

Flexible Frame Rate Support
The Corvid 44 12G supports 8K (8192 x 4320) and UltraHD2 (7680 x 4320) high frame rate (HFR) workflows at up to 50/60p for the most demanding applications. Film frame rates of 23.98, 24, 47.95, and 48p are also supported for 8K, 4K, and 2K resolutions.

High frame rate support on the Corvid 44 12G is not limited to 8K and UltraHD2. Multiple 4K, UltraHD, 1080p, and 720p HD inputs and outputs are also supported at frame rates up to 50/60p, making the Corvid 44 12G highly flexible for your current and future requirements.

Hardware Keying
The integrated hardware downstream keyer allows for the real-time overlay of graphics and images onto the incoming video.

LTC and Reference Input
The Corvid 44 12G features an external, switchable LTC/reference input located on the rear bracket of the card. A second LTC input is available internally via a header, providing an additional reference source for the Corvid 44 12G. RS-422
An integrated RS-422 interface is available—either as an external connector on the full-size Corvid 44 12G or as an internal connector on the low-profile Corvid 44 12G. RS-422 enables the control of external devices for frame-accurate data capture and output.
